Meet the Author
More about the author...
After returning to the classroom after two years of remote teaching, Carolyn noticed a significant difference in her student's skill levels and realized that she needed to adapt her teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
In order to create a student-centered learning environment where all students could feel safe and successful, Carolyn started to search for effective strategies that would engage, motivate, and build relationships with her students, while also providing them with the appropriate instruction to fill in the gaps left by remote learning.
Drawing on her own experiences as a teacher still in the classroom, Carolyn wrote a book to inspire and support other educators during these unprecedented times. She hopes to encourage teachers that they are not alone on their journey. Motivating Readers: Teaching in the Post Pandemic Era provides teachers with ideas, techniques, and insights to navigate the ever-changing educational system and help their students succeed. While it may take some time to recover from the pandemic, all hope is not lost.
